Our Purpose
The purpose of a Men’s Shed is to provide a well-equipped facility for woodwork, engineering and crafts. A facility where older skilled and unskilled members:

- exchange experiences
- work together on projects for themselves, the shed, and the community
- benefit from the support of one another and share life experiences
- overcome issues in an environment of meaningful activities and fellowship

A Men’s shed is a place where:
- Everyone is welcome
- And non-discriminatory in its approach
- And accessible to all members of the community
A Men’s shed also provides:
- An opportunity for men’s health and other topics to be discussed
- Engagement with a significant demographic group that otherwise can be difficult to access
- Social interaction with men of like minds
